CARBON TRAINING

Matt Delaney has extensive training experience in forest carbon project measurements.  He has held training workshops for non-profit groups, government agencies, and private companies on all aspects of carbon measuring and monitoring as well as carbon forecasting and project development. Over the course of his career he has trained approximately 50 people in measurement techniques and carbon benefit estimation in Ohio, Arkansas, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Belize, Indonesia, and the Philippines.  In early 2007 he hosted a training workshop on carbon markets and project measurements in Port Townsend, Washington for the Northwest Natural Resource Group.

He also gives presentations on forest carbon, most recently (2/07) for the Oregon Forest Resources Institute where he gave a talk on carbon accounting, markets, and project level design for their Forests and Climate Change conference at Oregon State University.
